I have been working on some “mini” games based on my Freeform Universal RPG. I realised that I could get the core rules (character generation, action resolution and experience) on a single page. That means, combined with setting information, adventure ideas and a character sheet I have been able to create some neat little, self-contained games on a double-sided page. So far I have done a dungeon crawler and a quirky space adventure game about robots looking after the last human in the galaxy. These are both based on games i wrote a long time ago.
It was a neat challenge, finding the right balance between brevity and world building and I have enjoyed giving the old game design muscles a work-out. I will be making more and will share them as I go.
I will make the games available on my website at http://www.perilplanet.com
